I have an amazing group of 4th graders. They come into my classroom every day, eager to learn, ready to take on new and challenging tasks, and excited for what is in store.
My fabulous 4th graders come to school each and every day excited to research topics of interest based on their own uniqueness.
These eager students come from a diverse group of cultural, economic, and academic backgrounds. We work in a class community where most households have two working parents.
My Project
As we enter the dark days of winter, it would be great for my students to have new dry erase and sharpie markers. As we finish the first half of the school year, our supplies are running out. It's hard for students to find dry erase markers that work. Sometimes they spend more time looking for a new marker than they do completing their work (some of which is a delay tactic).
Dry erase markers are in high demand in our classroom.
These markers allow students a way to work out math problems and show their knowledge without the frustration of having to erase mistakes and in turn ripping their paper. My kiddos are more engaged when using their whiteboards but that can't happen without the dry erase markers.
