My Project

I love seeing students who are so excited about a new school year! I enjoy preparing a classroom environment that helps kids to feel settled and "at home." What could help create that feeling? A beautiful, fresh gathering area rug and some organizational classroom materials, that's what!

We use our gathering area more than any other space in our classroom, so why not make it as inviting as possible?

We share books here, have class discussions here, and receive lessons here every single day.

Environment is important! A clean and tidy classroom is calming to the mind and gets my students ready to learn. I especially love this rug because it has sections for the kids to sit on. Everyone knows exactly where they should be. Coming to the rug and finding your spot without issue matters! This is another way to eliminate potential chaos!
