Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a 3rd grade teacher that gets the pleasure of teaching a group of inquisitive students who love hands on activities.
My students are scholars, explores, inventors, and artists who have a love for learning.
I love having the opportunity to introduce new concepts and strategies to them. To have a part in helping them learn about the world we live in is a gift. The idea that I could help my students develop new passions and interests to continue on this path of exploration is what makes me love what I do.
My Project
I always strive to incorporate hands-on and innovative activities in my classroom. The materials from this project will help my students to learn in a creative and hands-on way.
Children are naturally curious, they need tools and direction to foster that curiosity.
The Osmo system, hot glue guns, mats, and programs I have requested will give my students an opportunity to use their curiosity to learn and explore.
Because of these supplies, they will have the ability to directly apply their knowledge in S.T.E.A.M, Language Arts, Social Studies, and P.E activities. This will help them to develop a life long love for education.
