Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to make our media center exciting and inviting to my pre-k students. We are big lovers of books and music. The Toniebox is an imagination-building, screen-free, digital listening experience that plays stories, songs, and more. This would be an opportunity for the children to independently listen to a story or song and learn developmental skills that are important for early childhood development.

I chose certain book titles and characters of Tonie figures to inspire reading and fun!

These books are part of our curriculum and will be a fun and interactive way for the children to connect to the book and take literacy to a whole new level!

I also chose National Geographic Tonie figures. These will help students learn about science themes and encourage my learners to discover new skills. The space Tonie brings the listener to blast off into space to explore planets, stars, and beyond!

I also picked out the carry case and organizer to keep our Toniebox and figures in a safe place. This will also teach the children to be responsible for our belongings.
