My Students

The scholars in my classroom are hard-working and motivated. They are always ready to take on the next task or mission. They fight their own battles each day, and I would like to win one of those battles for them.

My scholars are growing up in one of the lowest socioeconomic environments in our country, but walk into the classroom each day with some of richest questions and deepest passions I have ever seen.

My Project

The Microsoft touch screen device will make our digital classroom a much more engaging place! Learning remotely can be very difficult for students. So much has changed and challenges are all around. A touch screen device will ease this transition. The ability to write directly on the screen will allow for easier comprehension of all subjects, specifically math. Students will be able to see exactly how to solve their problem, with a perfectly modeled example. The touch screen device will allow students to interact with their lessons, drop and drag items, as well as see things being written, rather than typed.
