My students need a die cut machine and cartridge for interesting displays and decorations to accent our learning environment. They also need replacement rubber bands for our Geo-Boards and other projects.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Fun, interesting and visually pleasing displays that are print rich are what its all about in the classroom. A die-cutting machine is the best way to get uniform letters and designs that are perfect every time.
My students attend a K-6th grade elementary school in a low income neighborhood in Northern California.
While it is true that they face many challenges associated with low income neighborhoods, they remain an eager, enthusiastic and wonderful group of children who come to school excited to learn and grow. I strive to create a classroom that is visually appealing, modern, and well stocked with essential supplies and enrichment materials.
My Project
It is so important to have a "print-rich" environment, and also one that is aesthetically pleasing as well. I prefer to make the most of my own displays, wall charts, bulletin boards, and room labels. A die cutting machine such as the one I'm requesting is the perfect tool for creating uniform lettering and display designs every single time. The extent to which one can customize settings and designs is practically limitless. This makes it a tool that will be used profusely for many years. The cartridge I've requested with it is an entire set of lettering and design elements perfect for classroom displays.
I've also requested several sets of rubber bands for our Geo-Boards. These boards are a great learning tool for geometry and fractions. Children use them by stretching rubber bands between several of the many posts adorning the face of the board. The children love using them so much that many of the rubber bands have worn out. We are hoping to replenish our supply.
Having a classroom that is both appealing visually, print rich, and well stocked is vital to making school a beautiful and interesting place to learn.
