Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our elementary school serves a diverse group of students that are hungry for knowledge and new experiences. When you walk the hallways of our school, you will see smiling faces, a tapestry of culture, hard work, and lots of hugs! We are a Title I school, and while many of our students come from lower-income families, I do not want that to be all that people see or remember about our students. Our students are bright and inquisitive, handling adversity with astounding grace. I want everyone to recognize how our students rise to any and every occasion with grit and determination that will soon trail blaze new paths to the future.
Our world faces many issues that do not yet have solutions, but you and I have the opportunity to foster the creativity of this young generation to help find them!

My Project
With the rapid growth technology, the Innovation Lab at Monaview exists to merge 21st-century skill building with the exposure of various technologies like artificial intelligence and robots.
With your help, I can levy the power of coding and robotics to increase student engagement in abstract concepts and hone their logic, design and critical thinking skills.
These tools will be essential to instilling a love for learning in my students as well as igniting their interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
