I have a great group of first grade students who love learning! I love seeing their smiling faces each day as they enter the classroom! They absolutely love hands-on, active, and engaging projects.
My energetic first graders come to the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore.
We are a rural PreK-8th grade school nestled in a small community. Our school has approximately 300 students. Our school is a great place where both the teachers and students enjoy being there!
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to have a choice on their seating that works best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom to work on reading or writing. Making sure students are comfortable while working is an essential component in motivating them.
We are also in need of stopwatches.
These stopwatches would give my students the ability to time themselves or their partner reading sight words or reading passages.
STEM activities would also be a great addition to our classroom. These kits will allow my students expand their creative imaginations by using hands-on activities.
