A Creative Class for Meaningful Learners of the Future!
Help me give my students equal access to quality education by having an age-appropriate classroom setting and to become healthy learners.
This project expired on August 15, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach seventeen three and four-year-olds whose personalities are bigger than the world! There are nine boys and eight girls and four of the girls are bilingual.
What I love most about my students is their natural curiosity and interest in learning.
Each student is unique in their very own way, some show their interest through play, some through questions and others through self-expression.
I love after they have been exposed to and experience with hands-on and developmentally appropriate activities, they show development socially, emotionally and intellectually and physically at their own pace.
The use of the materials donated will provide the students with a safe and nurturing place to learn. The sports balls will develop gross motor skills, promote exercise and build strong healthy bodies and minds. The puppets will expand their imagination and make the children feel capable, confident and brave.
With new materials, it offers children a natural desire to learn more!
The rugs will serve as a special rug to read their favorite books and increase self-sufficiency and promote a love for literacy!
The remaining materials will meet the interest of the children and help make the connection between home and real life understandings of important concepts related to science, math and social-emotional skills.
