My Students

I am the teacher of 22 fantastic second graders. The best way to describe my class this year is FULL OF HEART. They are kind to each other, respectful to adults, and love to learn. They are enthusiatic learners and strive to be good citizens. They walk into the classroom each morning with a smile on their face and a skip in their step. I feel so blessed to have such a great class and look forward to a successful year!

My Project

We would really love to have a big classroom rug to put in the middle of our room. We can come together to learn, listen to stories, work with buddies, solve problems, and enjoy our time together. Currently, we often sit at our desks and come to the floor on occasion. Not having a defined area for the students to sit makes it harder for them to get settled. The rug that I have chosen has a robin's nest with 26 eggs. I know my students will love coming to their special spot to learn, to play, and to share.
