My Students

I have the privilege of seeing 21 smiling faces in my third grade classroom each and every day. In our Title I school, students come from many backgrounds and are on many different reading levels.

My intentions are to grow an environment where all students have the encouragement and motivation to be successful readers.

Each of them show such growth and excitement when they get the opportunity to read and learn new things, and I love to see the joy in their faces when they have new opportunities to read!

My Project

The wobble stools and the couch will be a great asset to our classroom. Students tend to be more engaged in their own literacy when they have the opportunity to read somewhere besides their own desk. This seating will give students the opportunity to cozy up and dive into their own reading adventure willingly.

My goal is to create a learning environment where students are excited to read, and flexible seating requested, they will have more opportunity and comfort as they dive into their books daily.

I would love to see students spark a love of reading and flexible seating will give them all the more reason to find joy in reading!
