Co-teach classroom for 5th grade students. We have two pullout groups who receive special education support for reading and math goals.
We are striving for one to one computer access for students in the core academic areas.
The class has a general education teacher and a special education teacher working together, we have 24 students. Four of the students are identified as learning disabled and require small group instruction for math and reading.
Many of the students can bring their own devices from home, we have four students who do not have a computer to bring to school.
The chromebooks will help students who don't have a personal device at school to access the assignments in the small group setting.
The students will use the chromebooks for writing, math resources and research assignments.
The school inventory allows our classroom 12 computers and the remaining students can bring a device from home. Four of our students do not have access to an extra device to be used at school.
The students who leave the classroom for small group setting and do not have devices or the tables are big enough to allow a fullsize keyboard.
The extra devices will allow the students with a device to access the curriculum using the Dell chromebooks.
