A Comfy Place to Read/Listen to a Good Book!

My Students

My students are OBSESSED with reading! My class consist of 24 amazing kids. We are currently using the Accelerated Reading program as an enrichment program for encouraging reading and testing reading comprehension, earning points as each test is passed. Every student in my room is motivated and determined to have the most points in the 1st grade and hopefully even give students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade a little competition. As part of our daily literacy centers, my students rotate to the library to take AR test. This is by far their most favorite part of our day!

My Project

The beanbags we are requesting will help my students comfortably engage in reading in our classroom. We all love a good book. A comfy spot to read and listen to books in a classroom would definitely make for a more inviting reason to read. With beanbags in our room, our kids can cozy up to a good book, with the options to listen or to read!

We already have a good spot picked out for the beanbags we are requesting. We cannot wait to use them in our classroom and continue to read, read, read, with comfort!
