My kids love to read and learn. When they begin to recognize letters and some words they are excited to let myself and their parents know. With each new book they look at whether they are just telling the story by the pictures or being able to read a few words their imaginations begin to grow.
They love to put their imaginations to work by drawing pictures along with building towers and exploring the world outside.
Their little minds grow and develop everyday and it is my privilege to get to watch them. They are always interested in learning new things especially if it has anything to do with technology.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of a rug with some comfy seating to explore the world through books. The kids love to look at books and let their imaginations take over through the pictures along with starting to recognize sight words. Independent reading is a wonderful time to utilize our library area which right now does not look very comfy. With seating and a nice big rug the area will brighten up and look much more inviting.
Nothing opens their world better than a good book and a relaxing place to open their minds to an exciting adventure!
Help me give my students a bright inviting area to read in. The rug along with the chairs will give the kids an option of laying down or sitting comfortably to learn about books and the world around them. Books are a very important part of a preschoolers classroom. They learn about so many wonderful things while letting their minds wonder to a land of fun and adventure.
