My Students
I teach a classroom filled with 26 amazing ten-year-olds.
Through all the struggles my students face, they never want to stop learning.
I work in a Title I school and my students often face struggles both inside and out of the classroom. Through all of their struggles, these students always give me their best effort and strive to do their best in the classroom. Their drive and passion to become intelligent leaders of our school makes me want to be a better teacher every day.
My Project
My students LOVE to lay out and get comfortable when they are learning. Unfortunately, a regular desk and chair doesn't allow my students to do that as often as they would like. By adding the butterfly chairs to our classroom, my students will not only be able to choose where they sit, but they will be able find comfortable places to sit as well! Honestly, who doesn't love to curl up in a comfortable chair with a good book or a writing journal!? Adding the stools to our classroom will allow more places for our students to sit in small groups and at our technology station. I am really excited about implementing some new flexible seating into my classroom this year and I would love to add these items to our classroom next year.
