Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are eager and caring kids. They spend every day trying to make the best out of their situation. They all come from different and diverse backgrounds, which makes my class amazing. Although many of my students have heard the word no, they never give up. They are always working to improve themselves as well as their conditions.

Please help me make my students'​ dreams come true and allow them to see that there are good people out there advocating for their futures.

My Project

In my class, we spend a great deal of time using Dry erase markers to answer, respond to questions, assess understanding, and have free-time activities. My school has a certain amount of funding, and this will help provide all 33 students with free supplies. When my students enter the classroom, they are given all the necessary items they need to be successful. I know it’s doesn’t seem like a big deal, but dry erase markers get used, lost, misplaced, and destroyed frequently. Any amount of contribution helps with small support in the classroom. Thank you.
