Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

AESl is a Title I school in Washington, D.C. We support a majority of low-income students and often have to supply our own materials and items in order to fully support our classes.

Having a color printer in our classroom will be beneficial for not only my own professional development but also for the development and growth of all of my students.

A printer in my classroom would be beneficial for a multitude of reasons, including being able to create more representative and varied displays in our classroom, send home flyers and student work samples, and help parents better understand the data to be discussed, especially during parent-teacher conferences. It would also be useful for projects/ posters that my students will create throughout the year, and for the online comics they create for writing class!
