My Students

I am the art teacher at a Northern Ohio Charter School for students who have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning autism). Our school is a special education program founded on the principle that any child can learn given the proper learning environment and tools.

I absolutely love my teaching assignment!

I teach art to 200 young artists at all grade levels (K-12). My students are creative and energetic and truly enjoy learning about and making art.

My Project

My students love adding color to their art projects. We usually draw something with pencil, trace with permanent black marker, and then we add COLOR! Unfortunately, our markers are dry and our colored pencils are broken and shortened.

Artwork is way more fun when it has a color scheme!

I want to be able to bring back that pop of color to my students' artwork. We will use these broad and fine line markers and colored pencils every single day in the art room.

My students are fabulous artists who deserve a colorful art experience. Our art supply budget is gone. We are hoping you can help us bring color back to our art classroom!
