This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our PreK classroom the rug area is a main meeting place where we not only have morning meeting, and the end of the day meeting, but we use it for free choice centers as well. I would like a rug to have the alphabet on it so it can also be a learning space. Needless to say, our rug sees a lot of action throughout the day and years, and the one we have now has met its end.

I want my students to have a clean rug to sit on when they are on the floor, that encourages spacing themselves out, and learning.

I am asking for a new large rug for our meeting space that has alphabet letters on it. Thanks for taking the time to read my proposal and for valuing Early Childhood Education!
