Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are wonderful, motivated second language learners. They attend a Title I school in Los Angeles. Most of my students come from a home where both their parents have to work, but are very interested in their child's education. My students are motivated to learn and I want the best for them.
I want to be able to provide the resources they need to do well in school.
I want them to learn all they can in the year they spend in my room, so they can be successful and develop a strong discipline as a good student in my class.
My Project
My students are needing basic cleaning supplies such as hand soap, Clorox wipes, and Clorox mop and wipes to keep everyone healthy. I try to provide a clean environment for my students.
The materials I am requesting will help us stay healthy and make a difference in our attendance!
I am trying my best to give these children a healthy classroom so they don’t miss out on classroom experiences and assignments!
The hand soap will be used daily by the students. The wipes will be used daily to clean the table tops after breakfast. The mop and wipes will help when there are spills.
The adjustable pocket chart stand will be used to display our healthy habits posters.
