Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I have placed in my cart serve two purposes. The first is to ensure a clean and sanitary learning and therapy environment. I am currently in a room with no sink, so having access to wipes and hand wipes are essential.

The second is to provide students with access to fine and gross motor tools and supplies to improve their independence with typical dressing, balance, and coordination skills.

Having a mat in my classroom will improve safety for students and allow them the opportunity to have a safe area to stretch and do yoga and breathing activities to improve calm and behavioral self-regulation strategies.
