Help me give my students a classroom library that represents their interests as well as their backgrounds.

My students come to school everyday with such a joy for learning through reading, that I am encouraged to always put my best foot forward. They enjoy reading as an avenue of exploring life through books that they may not encounter outside of school. My students face challenging obstacles on a daily basis, but when they come to school, I can see them transform into their authentic selves as their faces glow with every page they turn. When students independently read, that is their opportunity to practice skills and strategies covered in class.
My students have such a love and passion for reading, which inspires me every day to be the best teacher I can be.
My students are avid readers and I want to create a classroom library that not only peeks their interests, but also fosters their needs. When my students open up a book, they are unlocking an unlimited amount of possibilities and it is my job to ensure that they have what they need to tap into those possibilities. Adding new books to our classroom library will not only enhance my students love for reading, but help them to continue practicing necessary skills and strategies needed to become great readers. The more practice my students get reading, the better readers they become.
Seeing students who face challenges and obstacles on a daily basis, come to school with the exception and anticipation to read, encourages me to do all I can to ensure that they have the necessary tools they need to success, which in this case are more books for our library.
