As a teacher in a rural district in southern Ohio, I work with many students who come from different backgrounds. My students are hard-working and always come in with a smile on their face ready to learn each day.

I have students who need a lot of extra teacher support to my gifted and talented students. My students know that I care about their learning and will do everything I can to meet their individual learning needs. I love to see them get excited about learning. They are amazing students and awesome learners.
My Project
These different types of flexible seating options will make a difference in student learning by students being able to choose what type of seating they like best. The seat they choose can help them stay focused and engaged in their learning.
My classroom currently has some stools, one tractor seat, one ball, and one wiggle seat.
Students take turns each day for these different seats, but I would like ALL students to experience a flexible seating option each week as the seats will be at all different tables.
I teach math and many students move around the classroom to learn. They like to take their flexible seating with them wherever they decide to move around the room. These seats that I have chose will allow students to continue to move around the room with their seats in tow.
