A Classroom for Everyone

Help me give my students a safe and welcoming classroom where they can get food and feel like they belong.

My Project

These items will be used for Maui students in the wake of the Lahaina fires. My goal is to create a welcoming environment for all students to learn. The light covers are to provide a relaxing place for students. The grids are to provide hands on learning activities in geometry but will also double as a space for students to keep belongings.

Students often are hungry and cannot focus, so snacks will be for students to come during and after school.

Many of my students struggle financially, and rely on school to provide food.

With all these, I will be able to better provide a place for students to belong and to feel accepted and safe.
