My students this year are 21st century learners who want to seek different ways to learn material and gain knowledge. They are curious, creative, critical thinkers, and crave different ways to stay engaged in the classroom. This is such an important time in their lives where they are really starting to lead their own learning and it's something that they want to do. They are asking for more ways to implement technology in the classroom. These students know how important technology is to their future! With such a large and growing campus, I want to be able to provide this wish to as many of my students as possible. Giving these students a variety of ways to expand their knowledge in the classroom will help them be successful in the future.
My students are curious children who want to engage themselves using technology in the classroom.
Having technology in the classroom is so important to help them reach their mathematical and scientific goals by the end of the year. These students are so excited to see where technology can take them in the future!
My Project
My students have so much experience with technology and I want to provide the tools they need to succeed. I feel that as a teacher, it is my job to set my students up for success. I know that having access to these Chromebooks will help students discover more about Math and Science than any worksheet ever will. They can use the chromebooks for various apps in Math that make learning more engaging. In Science, the chromebooks are an excellent resource for research projects.
While I already have so many ideas on how to use these Chromebooks in the classroom, I also know that my students have ideas as well.
There are so many online resources that will help hone and strengthen their education! There is nothing more special than to get the opportunity to help students achieve their goals.
