Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 4th Grade at a Charter School in New Mexico, that specializes in Health and Wellness.
I have an amazing group of readers this year! We are tearing through the books that I have in the classroom, and need more to keep their appetite sated! Our school library is very limited and does not have many copies of the same book.
I'm looking to create a diverse classroom library in which my students will have the ability to choose a book that is at their distinct reading level. We need a classroom set of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, along with small group sets of Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Indian in the Cupboard and the Boxcar Children. With these donations, I will be able to help my students reach their goal in reading.
