This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

True or False: Does a 6 year old need to be organized? TRUE! In first grade, the kids are working not only to read, write, and solve math equations but how to organize all the things they use on a daily basis. We don't take a grade on organization but it is an essential life skill. The chair "jackets" keep materials organized and tables clear of clutter.

Successful students start by being organized!

These pouches will help students learn how to keep their items (like folders and workbooks) tidy. Since we have tables, instead of desks, it is important the students have a place where their materials are housed. This will help to keep the top of the table clean and open for them to work also.

What makes these pouches different from others? These pouches have a water bottle holder! This is an amazing feature! Do you know how many spills we clean up in this classroom because a water bottle has fallen over? The answer is many!
