My Students

I teach Kindergarten, and one of the many things I love about these amazing kids is that they love school! They are excited to walk through the classroom door every day, and they are eager to learn.

I want to do everything I can to make their kindergarten year a positive experience.

For many of my students this will be their first time in a classroom, and their time with me will help shape the way they feel about school for years to come. My hope for my students is that they grow to love learning and continue believing that school is a great place to be.

My Project

In our kindergarten class we love to spend time in our class meeting place. We read stories, sing songs, and do much of our learning in this area.

A new colorful classroom rug will be an inviting addition to our classroom, and it will give each of my students their own special place to sit.

In Kindergarten this is a big deal! Each student having their own designated spot with appropriate wiggle room will make our class meeting time more comfortable so we can truly focus on learning!
