This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are proud bilingual learners. They are a group of eager and creative children. Not only are they eager to learn but they are also willing to lend a hand to anyone.

My students are a family.

They are a group of students that are willing to stop and help one another. We have built a community amongst ourselves. They have been learning and making discovers together since Kindergarten! My students deserve to have the best in my classroom.

My Project

This carpet will make a difference in my students' learning because it will give them a place in which we could come together to meet and have discussions before and after lessons. It will also give us the chance to come together at a certain area in our classroom for read alouds.

This carpet will also give my students another place to seat behinds their desks during their independent reading time.

It will also be used for occasional guided reading groups. My students enjoying moving around the classroom. Having this carpet will give me more opportunities to plan and teach on it!
