This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I serve an amazing group of students who are eager to learn but experience learning challenges. I serve a diverse, multicultural group. Most of my students were unable to bring in the school supplies that they need for the best learning experience.

My Project

My students are working hard to improve their reading and writing skills. This year has been a tough year with getting supplies brought in from home. My students would like to have a writing corner with many different supplies such as colored pencils, markers, and crayons to help them expand their creativity. Students could go to the writer's corner to edit and publish their work. We also want to have a place where students could use the headphones to listen to stories from our reading program.
