Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are talented artists, creative, and learn through the use of hands-on techniques, which is needed to create and produce their own professional music project. They come to DJ Club three times a week after-school ready to try new things.
I want our students to use professional equipment and produce music projects with confidence and knowledge of The Five Elements Of Hip-hop.
Every music project will prepare students for careers and/or college by teaching students to analyze different artistic mediums from diverse cultures, and apply math and science concepts to the craft of mixing and blending sounds in musical compositions.
My Project
All of our students want to learn how to produce their own music project with high-quality equipment. We want to make sure students are producing music with the latest technology, instruments, and software programs.
The professional equipment will provide NEW music goals for all students.
The equipment I have selected will help students learn how to DJ, produce, record, market, manage, and engineer. I know how important professional equipment is when it comes to production. All students will have the opportunity to explore The Five Elements Of Hip-hop with professional studio based recording equipment.
New studio equipment will provide opportunities to practice sharing, problem-solving, working as a team, and being independent.
