My students need more COLORFUL and VIBRANT visuals when they are in the classroom. The Brother HL-317OCDW Digital Color printer will help with all my color copy needs instead of being forced to go off campus.

As an educator of secondary math education for over 12 years, I need certain materials to provide for my students and myself when working in the classroom. There are times when materials aren't available from our department chair persons due to limited funds at our school. I teach at a Title I school and it's unfortunate that students sometimes cannot afford the materials most teachers ask for.
My students are always asking for something in class and one thing they do need is papers to be printed in color for class projects.
Although I am a math teacher, I always seek to help students beyond my subject matter. If students need anything for other classes, I try to provide what I can. Having materials available to my students and even others makes my job much easier and the students' minds are at ease. They won't have to worry about getting rejected from other teachers or staff.
Students do not like to see black and white in books or in the classroom. When given something to work on, color is the very first thing they see. When you give them something that attracts their attention, they are more acceptable to trying the problems and doing the work. Having colorful posters, charts and visuals will help the students work better.
I have students who always have projects they would like to print in color but because the school doesn't always have the resource available for them, I can provide that necessity for my students.
Students will always get rejected from the library or end up having to pay for color copies. If I am given this printer, I can better help my students print their projects and also help build the classroom into a brighter environment for them to learn in.
