Help me give my students hygiene products to include soap, lotion, detergent, band-aids, hand and shoe sanitizer. We also need ziploc bags to make take-home hygiene kits for our kids.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The students that I serve are in a low-income community, but these students are the most loyal and deserving children you will ever meet. Our students live in the parts of town that others may not necessarily want their children to live in, but they make do with what they have, and they strive to be better. I serve an elementary school, and the students at this school have great needs.
These students are extra special and they deserve all the chances that kids in schools farther north get.
They make concerted efforts to succeed despite their circumstances, and they deserve to be given the same opportunities to level the playing field.
My Project
The donated items which have been requested will assist our students in ensuring that their hygiene needs are met, this includes our future ability to assist them with Cold season sanitary concerns.
Our students are in need of sanitary supplies to include sanitizer, soap, lotion, and daily hygiene products.
We will be able to make care packages which will include lotion, soap, hand sanitizer, band-aids, deodorant, laundry soap, and body soap.
We have recently returned from our unexpected bad weather break which caused students to be out of school. With the harsh weather, the students could really benefit from the use of the hand lotions.
