My Students

I teach at a Title I school in south Mississippi with an amazing group of first graders! My students are hardworking and enjoy being in a nice, clean classroom. Due to COVID-19, our school is working hard to keep our students safe and contained in our classroom for most of the day. Each day, we clean and sanitize our classroom and we are constantly wiping down material and desks. We are working as hard as we can to keep our students safe and in school where we know they are taken care of and fed each day.

My Project

Having an air purifier would help keep my students from getting sick and it will help to sanitize the air in the classroom by killing germs that carry the flu and other illnesses. Our school keeps students contained in the classroom for most of the day to prevent too much interaction with other classes so we can avoid the spread of germs. The air purifier will help keep my students safe with fresh, clean air for them to breathe, and will even kill germs to prevent the spread of illnesses that may be in the class.
