The students I teach are full of talent and potential. Through our work in choir and theatre, these students learn how to work together, express themselves, project manage, act, sing, speak, write, direct...basically, become a well rounded person!
Now, more than ever, students need opportunities to safely express themselves and work together.
After months of quarantine and school closure, these students are ready to come back to school and get back to amazing world of the performing arts.
My Project
Studies completed by the Florida Music Educators suggests that classrooms where singing and acting occur must have safety precautions in place to help lower the risk of viral exposure. In addition to masks and social distancing, keeping a clean air quality is essential.
These powerful air purifiers will allow students in my classroom to begin engaging in their passion for the arts, again, in a safe way.
Due to the size of our room, 2 air purifiers should be able to recycle and clean the air every 30 minutes, giving students a way to rehearse, sing, act, speak, and exist in this classroom with a greater peace of mind.
