Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am the proud physical education and health teacher of 600 amazing and outstanding students in an inner city school of Rhode Island. We are a Title I school and our children come from a variety of different backgrounds. We embrace our diversity and celebrate each our successes as a team with respect for each of our unique differences. My students are passionate about participating in sports and I do my best to support and provide all I can as their teacher. I believe that when we work as a team it helps create stability, foster strong relationships and connects them to our school culture.
My Project
We would all greatly appreciate the help in obtaining 2 sets of 6 Soft Low Bounce Tuff Balls so we can enjoy playing and becoming more skilled at many playground and indoor games and sports. We would use the balls often for basketball, handball, soccer, floor hockey, and so many other throwing and catching games. These particular balls are perfect because they are durable enough for all our games, easy to catch, easy to grip and control, and have tear-resistant covers that are washable, non-toxic and can be disinfected. We work hard to build confidence and enhance the skill development of all our students and having the right gear is essential to support our goal. We believe all students can achieve an optimal physically fit lifestyle. Thank you so much for your time and attention. Any help at all is truly appreciated.
