My students need 8 bean bag chairs to enjoy their independent reading time. The more relaxed they are when reading the more they can focus on strengthening their comprehension skills.

My Students

I have 30 brand new smiling, culturally diverse, academically diverse, and eager to learn third graders. Their desire to learn new things and do their best is admirable.

My class is so very ready to work, learn, and support each other on their new journey in 3rd grade.

They have committed to working hard this year, while taking care of each other and becoming a school family. We will not let being a TITLE 1 school, stop us from soaring.

My Project

Having 8 comfortable bean bag chairs during independent reading time will help my students enjoy their books even more. They can focus on their comprehension skills more because they will be relaxed and comfortable.

They will enjoy their reading time more.

Each reading book club can have a turn during the week to relax and enjoy a good book. As of now, the only place to read is at their desks.

The more relaxed your body is, the more your mind can go on the adventure the book takes you on! We really need some comfortable seating for reading time.
