Help me give my students a view into various genres of literature by providing our classroom with a document camera and a laser printer.

What makes my students special is they are wonderfully expressive verbally and they love engaging in non-fiction article discussions where we can go deeper with overall learning beyond our English class. I want them to share their personal points of view by writing about them. My students' abilities range from on-level to exceptional, requiring special education accommodations and instructional differentiation. This project represents the high expectations I have for all students to be successful. Breaking down the reading passages and showing them various examples by laying them beneath a document camera, I can show them examples quickly and underline, circle, and make notes as I instruct with my voice. Great writers, typically read various genres of literature and my students will be exposed in the English IV classes I co-teach. More than 70% of the students at my high school are on free and reduced price lunch.
My classroom, which is currently virtual, truly needs a document camera and a basic black and white laser printer to better support student learning. The document camera will enable me to to project passages in books as examples for students remotely, as well as when we are back in the classroom. The document camera will also transition back to school for in-person classroom learning in the same way. The basic laser printer will enable me to be able to provide class notes and articles in hard copy format for students who require additional accommodations/support with annotations, etc. The printer will also allow students to be able to print out their writing wirelessly in class.
