This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Kindergarten is such an important milestone. While many are very excited to enter "real" school, some may be apprehensive . I want to make Kindergarten a fun learning experience as they build knowledge that they will take with them. We strive to personalize their learning to fit all the needs in our classroom!
Located in a small rural area, a lot of my students come from low income families and all students receive free breakfast.
My students are very energetic and are always excited to learn! They love moving around the room and take pride in their work!
My Project
We need sturdy book bins to organize our supplies. In Kindergarten we have tables instead of desks, therefore; we lack storage. Daily my students use an iPad, headphones, journals, pencil boxes, and different math manipulatives.
We are very mobile throughout the day and these bins will help store all the necessary supplies they need on a daily basis.
Organization is very crucial skill for students to learn and I have high hopes that these bins will help as we have transitioned into a flexible seating, personalized learning environment.
Your donation will not only benefit students this year, but will continue to help students in the future. These bins are very sturdy and can be used year after year to keep supplies organized!
