Help me give my students an electric, pedal-assisted, side-by-side, adult tricycle with safety armrests, so my more severe students may actively participate in our outdoor social/recreation activities, and vocational trainings.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are in grades nine through twelve, plus additional years of vocational-transition (ages 15 - 21). We are a small, public school tucked away in the beautiful mountains. We are avid outdoor adventurers, and our lessons are geared towards Community-Based Vocational Instruction (CBVI).
My Project
We have a student that is hearing impaired, as well as other disabilities that could hinder his ability to make safe decisions.
Biking can be very dangerous, but with this pedal-assisted, side-by-side bike, we can bike safely.
Biking can be therapeutic and good for calming down and/or recreation time.
My students transfer from my classroom to a Transition Program that is little over a mile away. There is a bike path we may use to get there safely. We transfer to the program weekly and following traffics signs and directions are a needed skill.
We will practice and learn safety laws/rules and proper biking etiquette in a real-world setting.
This bike will allow my students with more severe disabilities to enjoy the bike ride as their grade-level peers do. The pedals are operated separately so they are error-less. I can't wait to see my students riding along with their peers.
