This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

With the current coronavirus pandemic, I can’t show students live, in person how to do new content that needs to be taught. Only a few students are able to join my live video calls. However the video calls are limiting for live displays and the students can’t get a full understanding of what I’m trying to say.

My Project

The document camera will allow me to work out math problems with a live demonstration during live video meetings. The video files generated by the document camera can be saved and posted to the online classroom for students who couldn’t attend the video meetings to see them in their own time or refer back to the videos if they have a question about a certain point in solving the problems. The document camera has audio recording so students will be able to hear me explain each step in solving the problems.
