Celebrate Black Teachers and Students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 8th grade with about 150 wonderful students in my World History class in Mobile, Al. I love doing projects with each Ancient Civilization that I teach. My students lack the resources to create the projects, and I want them to be able to have what they need to create the project that makes them feel proud.
No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.
I want my students to be apart of each ancient civilization by recreating that time period.
My Project
My students would love to use new markers and have plenty of glue to create their Egyptian Tombs and pyramids and their maps of Ancient places. There is so much we can accomplish with all these needed supplies. I would love to have little boxes, bags of craft jewels, glue, and markers. All and any supplies would be welcomed.
I also asked for a few iPads because I love to bring hand on technology into the classroom.
I will appreciate any help for my students, and I know it will put big smiles on their sweet faces. I want to make 8th grade World History a class that they will always remember.
