My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they are voracious learners!

My students don't always have access to technology opportunities, and my goal is to change that.

My students work hard. They love to use technology to explore topics and themes that were previously closed to them. They also are developing an education tailored to their needs and abilities. Technology is helping us do all of these things.

My Project

My students use Chromebooks in class all the time. This gives the opportunity to develop skills and abilities to be successful outside of school.

Due to lack of Chromebook chargers, our technology devices are not always charged and readily available.

Our technology budget is focusing on creating opportunities for all students to use Chromebooks. This means that tech money is being spent on getting Chromebooks in other classes. This is the right thing for our school district, but it does make it tough for us to keep all Chromebooks charged; that is why I am making this project and asking for new Chromebook chargers. Please help my kids get the chance to have ready-to-use technology each and every day.
