My Students

My talented and much-deserving 6th grade students come to my classroom every day ready and eager to learn. I teach at a rural school where over 75% of students come from low-income homes. My students are diverse and have many learning needs that I must cater to! As a second year teacher, I need the tools to give my students great learning opportunities and provide them the means to stay engaged, scaffold, and differentiate learning.

I want the students in my classroom to have access to the tools they need to become technological scholars!

They will become scholars of technology, while boosting their understanding of math and sciences.

My Project

My students will use these Chromebooks for online programs like Symphony Math, Moby Max, and IXL to get INDIVIDUALIZED instruction. These programs utilize a digital interface to help students achieve math and science success.

My students will use these Chromebooks to help them succeed in their science and math education!

Students will have the ability to collaborate with the teacher and other students on these programs and with the Google Suite. Students will use the google apps on the Chromebooks to demonstrate understanding of content learned through presentation.

Last, I plan for my students to use the Chromebooks as a means to complete digital breakouts. Students will solve puzzles and riddles based on content to breakout of virtual challenges on the Chromebooks. These focus on real-world problem solving skills.
