The students I work with are amazing scholars. They have a passion for learning and interests that make our classroom adventures extremely fun. My students are innovators, scientists, mathematicians, writers, and storytellers. It is important to me that my students have opportunities to be whatever they want to be and have access to an equitable education that they deserve. The students I work with are at a Title I school. However, I'd like them to never be given less than any other student.
We will use this computer to learn to code and for class projects! The students need to learn to be more fluent in computer skills. This would allow them to learn typing skills, write essays, make powerpoints, learn computer coding, and gain the skills necessary for middle school, high school, and higher education. Many of them don't have access to computers at home so school is where they will be learning many of their computer skills. My students are from low income backgrounds and attend a Title I school. This would be a great benefit to our classroom community and help them become fluent in technology.
