Help me give my students binders, for our interactive math notebooks, page protectors for the binders when students are just a little too rough on the paper, and prizes (snacks) for when we play math games in class!
The students here at our school come from low income homes. I work with students from many different walks of life. I have students who are homeless, living in shelters, multi-family homes, apartments, etc. A majority of my students are English Language Learners, too! My students are hard-workers who have to try harder than most in just to succeed in the academic setting. They never give up and always come to school with smiles on their faces. I enjoy seeing my students grow academically.
My Project
Sixth grade math standards will be reached. The binders, pencil pouches, and page protectors will help us create interactive notebooks for all of our 6th grade math learning standards. They will also help students who are virtual because they can continue to work in their interactive notebooks while at home, if internet is not an option!
We like to play math games in the classroom!
Giving out prizes helps students who need a little incentive to learn! The candy/snacks will be utilized as prizes for the winners/participants of the game!
