My Students
We are an all-girls public STEM school in California. We have girls from every direction of the city, creating a uniquely diverse student body.
These girls like school and love being smart. They each chose to attend this school before the school even existed. They believed in the vision of our principal and they signed up. The girls and their families have worked tirelessly to prepare the school to open this August. As a new school with limited resources, there is much we need.
My Project
I try to keep my art supply cabinet stocked so that the girls have as many creative options as possible. I purchased tons of Hay Clay last year and anticipate needing even more this year. We need glitter, glitter, and more glitter. Help the girls add a little sparkle to their work and projects with the glitter pens and paint. The wire is a new resource I'm adding to the class this year, and I'm excited to see what the girls create with this new tool. These materials will be used on projects to be shared during the 6th Grade Pop Up Museums that occur during the year as part of our Crafts Elective.
