Help me give my students some new outdoor play equipment! We would love to have some hop along balls, catch and balance band set, bases and ball toss games!
My classroom is made up of 18 students from diverse backgrounds which is located in a community center in our area. We serve low-income families and students with special needs in order to improve their educational experience. We also work with the families as a whole to improve each student's health and wellness. Our students' goal is to be ready for Kindergarten and become members of a successful classroom community. We love to love to dance, sing, and play outside. Here's to another great school year!
My Project
Since our preschoolers are at school for almost eight hours a day, we are required to have 60 minutes of outdoor time everyday! We LOVE to get outside and burn off all the kid's energy before we go in for learning time. However, we have no climbing equipment, so we rely solely on our bike track and portable items that we have to keep the kids entertained!
We need some new, exciting games for our outside time so we can have a safe, fun 60 minutes of play!
We would like to teach the children how to play kick ball, run around the bases, and eventually tee ball! We would also be able to use the easy grip ball toss to practice catch. We know for a fact that the jump along balls would be a hit as we have a few children that crave impact type activities!
We would be so very excited to have a few new toys to play with outside while keeping our bodies and minds healthy and ready to learn!
