My Students

My students are dedicated and curious students who love to learn how to investigate the world around them! Struggling to work with Covid-19, but still wanting the lab experience of a high school science classroom, these students are great!

Using modern technology to help students who merge from in-person and online on a day-to-day basis, these upgrades to my classroom help the students transition flawlessly from one circumstance to the next.

My Project

This project includes 3 items which would help me with 2 different classes. The first two focus on being able to help students to understand how the sun moves through the sky and how we can track the movement of the sun and predict length of days based on the math it gives us. The second project gives me the ability to demonstrate how ocean currents move throughout the deep currents by using a physical model to demonstrate these currents.

By using these hands-on manipulatives, I hope to engage the students a bit more in some parts of my subject that tend to be a more "boring" unit compared to others.
