I teach at a Title I school, and my students have very diverse backgrounds. Some of my students have very rough lives outside of school, so my goal is to make my classroom their safe space. I would like to provide additional learning tools and games that will help them be successful in 5th grade. My goal is for my classroom to be a place where they can leave their baggage at the door and simply focus on learning and having fun!
My Project
First of all I would like to say thank you for checking out my project! The items I am asking for are to ensure that my students have the supplies they need to be successful in 5th grade.
Some of the items will be used to organize stations and for my students to organize their supplies.
I think that is a very important skill that will help them out in the long run. Other supplies such as dry erase markers and bean bag covers will be used to help make learning more fun, because who doesn't want to have fun?
